5.1 When to use the Mixer
Use the Mixer when clips are playing and you want to balance volume, adjust panning, or mute and solo tracks. It mirrors your project’s track list—every column in the launcher has a matching channel strip here.
5.2 Opening the Mixer
Tap Mixer in the footer from the Clip Launcher, Arranger, or Detail Views. Tap Back or toggle the mixer button in the footer to hide the mixer view when you’re done balancing.
5.3 Channel strips
Each track appears as a vertical strip showing:
- The track header with name and color
- A volume fader
- Pan control
- Mute and Solo buttons
- A level meter showing signal while audio plays
5.4 Volume and pan
Drag a fader to raise or lower a track’s level. Adjust pan to shift a sound left or right in the stereo field.
5.5 Mute and solo
Mute silences a track without deleting its clips. Solo focuses on one or more tracks by muting the others temporarily—useful when checking a single part during a dense mix.
5.6 Track actions
Long-press on a track header to open the context menu and choose from the following actions: change color, move, duplicate, or delete.
5.7 Adding tracks
The MIDI and Audio add buttons at the end of the strip row work the same as in the Clip Launcher—create tracks without leaving the mixer.
5.8 Tips
- Mix at modest levels—leave headroom so the master output doesn’t distort
- Use solo to check one element, then un-solo before exporting
